The Dress

This dress is stunning in person! The fabric is a lux two-way stretch satin. The skirt and sleeves are both detachable (I bought the sleeves separately), so you can make a variety of looks out of the one dress! It was originally a size 16 and altered down to a 10-12. The seamstress did not cut any of the fabric when she altered it, so it could be anywhere from a size 10-16. I love it so much but am a size 6 in the waist and this dress can't be altered down enough to fit me, so I'm selling it unworn! I'm sad to part with it but hope it can make another bride's day!!

The dress will very likely need alterations and will need to be steamed to get the wrinkles out. Since I wore it for fittings, I will get it dry-cleaned professionally before mailing. The sleeves also need to have hooks or clips sewn on so they can be worn (I planned to wear the sleeves for the reception but not the ceremony, so I wanted them to be easily taken on and off).

Alterations

The waist was taken down to a size 8-10 but the bust was not changed. The hips were taken out slightly. It was also hemmed to fit me (I'm 5.4 1/2" and was wearing 4" heels for alterations). The alterations to the hips and waist can be reversed.
