The Dress

This was an absolute dream dress that got so many compliments from people saying it was the prettiest wedding dress they’ve ever seen. The most unique aspects of the dress are the beautiful 3D flowers and the fact that the dress is not completely white. The dress has a Champaign/tan undertone which is topped by beautiful white and beige embroidery & flowers. Most of the other floral dresses I saw had flowers embroidered but these flowers are 3-dimensional and look delicate and life-like. I love that the tail of the dress is long and elegant for the ceremony but it was super easy to bustle up for the reception. It is a form hugging dress but the lace is very high quality and quite flexible. I was able to sit, dance, jump, walk, etc. I was initially worried about dancing but I was able to dance all night, no problem! It really is the perfect dress for all of your wedding needs.

The dress has been professionally cleaned and preserved by the Wedding Gown Preservation Co. in New York.

Alterations

The top half of the dress was altered to my exact measurements. Bust: 32.5, waist: 27.5. The skirt only had to be altered in length and it very snugly fit my hips: 40.5. I was almost 5’6” in my dress with heels on and the dress touched the floor ever so slightly.

The final dress fit me at the bust but my breasts didn’t fill the cups completely. It will definitely fit someone with slightly larger breasts (I wear 32B/34A bra size). The dress was also very tight at my hips. It will be a very comfortable fit for someone with slightly smaller hips. Like I stated in the description, the dress is tight but very flexible and I never felt restricted in movement. My waist right now is 27.5 but I’m sure it was about 27” at the time I got married.
