The Dress

This dress is absolutely beautiful, elegant and timeless. I felt like a film star in it. The whole dress is covered in fine delicate lace with lots of detail, see photos and video to see how exquisite the detail of the lace is. The cut of the dress is very flattering, coming in at the waist with a beautiful satin sash. I am a pear shape so this style emphasised all of my best bits. It has a built-in, supportive bra which kept everything comfortably in place for the whole day. The dress has lots of layers but I didn't feel hot on a sunny day, the strapless style really helped. People have purchased boleros or cover ups to complement this dress and they look lovely, have a quick Google! I wear a size 10 on top and 12 on bottom so if you are in this size range it is definitely worth a try. I brought the dress as a size 14 and had it taken in. I purchased the dress from Teokath in Wimbledon and the alterations were also done by them so they were perfect! The dress is in near perfect condition on top, the satin sash would benifit from a clean. The underside of the dress does have mud marks but they are not visible once on, I have not had the dress cleaned yet and the price is reflective of this. The mud marks are unlikely to come out entirely but they will be improved with a clean, the sash will come up nicely or could be easily replaced. I have never felt as beautiful as I did on my wedding day, this dress is to my mind the perfect balance of special and sophisticated, lots of exquisite subtle details without being over the top, I am sure you will love it as much as I do!
