The Dress

Dress of my dreams! I cried when I tried it on, it was seriously the perfect match for me. I wanted a dress that was very classy and clean with a high slit to open it up and have it feel less bulky. We got married in February and it even snowed on my wedding day, but I was never uncomfortable! I had a furry coat that I wore if I ever got chilly which looked amazing with this gown. I am 5’2” and wore almost 4in heels and I felt gorgeous. The see-through mesh cutouts on the side were such a beautiful and unique touch. I loved that the neckline was more linear and angled than a traditional sweetheart neckline.. My favorite detail was the buttons all the way down the back! It was such a wow factor for me. I hope you fall in love with it as much as I did!

Alterations

I had the bust brought in a touch as it would move around when I walked. I had the zipper replaced since the one from the designer was defective. I had some of the underneath tulle removed as it was way too poofy and uneven under the bottom. I had the length hemmed as there was way too much access length. I had a couple pleats removed from the designer as there were too many that seemed added by mistake. I also had the leg slit sewn a bit lower as it was too high and a bit too revealing.
