The Dress

Bought from its original bride on Still White in Aug 2021, I was planning on wearing this beautiful and very unique dress for our wedding however due to falling pregnant our wedding was postponed. The wedding has now become an overseas wedding and I have invested in another dress more suitable to a colder winter climate. There are no marks, and the dress is in pristine condition with it having been dry cleaned by the original bride after her wedding (I have the original dry cleaning docket as proof).

Presley is no longer sold by Rue De Seine and in boutiques, therefore this is a unique opportunity for a bride to be to give this dress a second chance to shine once again.

With a unique mix of plain crepe and graphic chevron lace, Presley is designed for the modern, bohemian bride who is looking for a refined aesthetic with an edge. Clean lines are balanced with a full circle skirt to bring the drama. Fitted bodice with side cut outs and edging trim showcase the smallest part of the body. Full skirt and train balance gather blouson sleeves.

Alterations

Alterations by the Original Bride:
• Modesty mesh inserted in V infront of bust (mesh matches the same fabric used on dress side cut out). As you will note the mesh cannot be seen in photo 4.
• Extra bust cups have been provided if you would like to sew these in on top of the existing cups to provide more stability
• Extra write loops sewn under the train to make it easier to carry for the evening
• Hook and eye, and a stronger press stud have been added to the back of the dress, so there is no chance of it popping open
• The rope at the end of the sleeves has been replaced with an elastic band.
