I felt like Princess Margaret in this dress. As with all Phillipa Lepley dresses, the fabric (duchess silk) is super high quality. I think it gave a very timeless look.

Details:
- The dress has an in-built corset to make an hourglass shape and to allow a bit of flexibility in alterations around the waist
- There are a few layers of tulle underneath the dress to create the shape, these could be removed if you wanted a sleeker look. The bottom of the tulle is a bit grey from wear
- You can see the dress has a long train. The edges of the train are a bit discoloured despite dry cleaning but the dress could stand to lose 2-3 inches of train and still be pretty substantial. The train can be pinned up and I found it wasn't too big or heavy for dancing in
