The Dress
I wanted a dress that would show the curves of my body. I'm normally conscious about my lower tummy, but I felt very confident in this dress as the material is thick and there is some structure (the only boning is in the bodice area).
The dress was bustled with safety pins on the night, so you would need to either do the same or have a bustle added.
The dress has 2 layers, a silk like material and then a lace overlay. It was very comfortable to wear all day. There was no rubbing or itchy material (even in the Florida heat).
I would recommend wearing a 2" heel, just so you don't catch the front of the lace.
