The Dress

I bought this dress for my wedding in Jackson Square, New Orleans. I found it perfect for the art noveau aesthetic I was going for being in New Orleans. It's a pale pink with a nude slip underneath. I have this dress on the dress form currently and it looks like art. It's exquisite and I absolutely love it however I hope some other woman gets to wear it again. I will also include my cathedral veil.

The dress was only unbustled during our ceremony and was otherwise bustled so there's no damage to the hem. And while I had it dry cleaned and sealed in a box, I took it out to photograph it and there's some dark on the underside of the hem which I did not attempt to hand remove. I went with the best seamstress and tailor couple in town and their work held strong. I inspected it for missing patterns in the beading and couldn't find any.

Alterations

The dress was taken in slightly and a french bustle was added with ribbons not hooks to maintain the integrity of the dress. For reference, I was at the time of my wedding 140lbs (?), 5' 5", and a size 4 in dresses, 4 or 6 in pants depending. I wore a 3 inch wedge heel on my wedding day.
