The Dress
Custom made tulle and lace-overlay gown with detachable skirt to have fuller ballgown look for ceremony and move to lighter, fit-and-flare silhouette for reception. it has had alterations to make the detachable skirt hook on more securely at the waistline.
We were married in the early fall so the longer sleeves were perfect for the time of year. It was wonderfully comfortable for our event and doesn't wrinkle when sitting, and looks great in photographs. Because of the type of fabric, it would very easily accommodate further alterations.
