About the Dress

I loved wearing this dress at my wedding. The style was so comfortable and flattering, and is the perfect blend of traditional and modern. It also allowed me to change out the full skirt for a shorter one in the evening so I could properly dance. Although the full train can be bustled to allow more movement in the afternoon too. I sewed silk flowers on to the shoulders and backline as an alternative to a more conventional flower crown/headpiece but these can be removed if you’d prefer it in it’s simpler format (pictured). There would be some very small needle marks left but unlikely to be noticeable.

Alterations

Skirt was taken in at waist, and top was taken up slightly on the shoulders and cinched at the back by the buttons. I’m a true size 12 with 32d chest and am 5’8.
