This is truly a stunning dress; I got a billion compliments and felt so beautiful! It’s also light and comfortable, so perfect if you're getting married in a warm location. I just want someone else to get a chance to wear it!

I had this professionally dry-cleaned and spot-cleaned the day after the wedding. I'm listing this as in "good" condition because the fabric has a few tiny pills, a single tiny dot, and some light staining on the hem, mostly on the inner lining. None of this is visible from any distance (even a few feet), and I am 5'9" and wore 2" heels, so if you plan to be less than 5'11" on your wedding day, I suspect you will be able to hem the stains off. I would have zero qualms about wearing this dress as is—it looks great—but just want to be as transparent as possible!

Alterations

This dress was altered by an excellent bridal tailor recommended to me by an Alexandra Grecco retailer. Anyone who buys the Stevie dress will need to get it altered; you can even tell on their model that it doesn’t quite fit in the back. Hopefully the alterations I got will reduce alteration costs on your end! Please refer to my measurements for a sense of how it’ll fit.

- This has been hemmed. It should be long enough for anyone 5’11” or under, but message me if you’re worried about this
- I added an elegant American bustle with a single button (see the picture/video above) to protect the train
- I added cups (C)
- The sides of the torso were taken in, and a bit of boning was added where the mesh meets the silk, to keep the lines of the bodice straight and clean
- I had it taken in at the hips, but not below, so it fits like a sheath
- Straps have been shortened

I went out of my way not to alter the character of the dress, but please look at my measurements to get a better sense of the alterations. My torso is pretty short for someone who is 5’9”, so if you’re shorter and have similar measurements, it may fit well on top.
