The Dress

I loved my dress! It was comfortable and made me feel amazing! The touch of flowers all over the skirt and top, which extended into straps, made me feel secure and covered. The A-Line skirt was full, but was not heavy and was easily bustled after the ceremony to allow for more movement. Lastly, the top fit so well and then hit my hip in the perfect spot to go out and create a beautiful A-Line silhouette. This is a Nouvelle Amsale Elliot Dress that was a sample size 20, which could allow for alterations to make it perfect on anyone. As someone who loves something simple, it give me that with a little special touch of subdued flowers all over to make it feel unique and my wedding day.

Alterations

The only alternations to the sample size dress were on the sheer sleeve, which was gathered on the top and sewn to shorten the length. The dress itself was not altered in any other way. In addition 5 cascading bustle buttons (there is one that needs to be mended) were added to the back to pick up the dress after the ceremony.
