The Dress

BACKGROUND:
I bought this dress brand new in September 2021, from A&BÉ Bridal Shop in Denver, CO. I made just a few, very minor alterations to the dress which are listed below. I wore it once, on my wedding day, August 18, 2022. I didn't spill anything on the dress nor tear or damage it in any way, and after the wedding I got it professionally dry-cleaned ($250). It was the most perfect, beautiful dress and I loved every last inch of it! I am selling because I am not sentimental enough to leave it in my closet forever and never wear it again.

Alterations

ALTERATIONS:
Hemmed: The dress was extremely long when bought new (most are so that you can hem to your desired length). I am quite tall (5'9"), wore 3.5" heels with the gown on my wedding day, and I wanted my dress to stay as long as possible - touching the ground all the way around. After hemming, the dress measures 64" in the front (anyone 5'8" and shorter will likely need to have the gown hemmed further since it is considerably long!)

Added Bustle: My seamstress/tailor added an awesome, nearly invisible bustle. When bustled, the dress is 64" all the way around. The train of the dress is held up by 3 clear buttons, held up by 3 sewn-in, matching, off-white loops, which sit just below the bum (31" from the top or 33" from the bottom of dress). This bustle is extremely well made, and makes the dress a perfect length for dancing post-ceremony.

Dancing Loop: (*Not an alteration) The gown came with a built-in "dancing loop," located on the inside of the base of the train. While dancing, I preferred the dancing loop over bustling the dress because I liked the way it looked when the train of the dress was being held up with the loop (see pictures).
