The Dress

A sleek silhouette, option for an over skirt, quality beadwork (great for close up photos), and a sexy while elegant vibe.

The chiffon detailing in the back with cyrstal buttons finishes this piece that features a removable skirt that creates a voluminous princess silhouette with a paillette embroidered tail."

Brand new (with tags) Yolancris Barcelona "Castell" 2020 dress with overskirt attachment option (Skirt not included - I don't have It I'm afraid but the attachment is in place so you can add any overskirt of the right weight).

I initially bought the Castell dress because it's the most flattering (it's slightly stretchy) which is a rare find for a lace, beaded dress because those materials tend to add bulk. This material is really thin lace so it's super flattering (doesn't add size to you) AND I bought it because I intended to use it after my wedding for formal events. But since I didn't get married in it (wedding wasn't until 01/23) and YolanCris is certainly an investment, I need to part with it.

Retail was $8,800 in 2021 but it's from the 2020 collection.
Size is 40 Spain. I wear a 4-6.

To appreciate this dress, you would have to be someone who really appreciates quality and handmade details. You can see in the video the quality of the French lace and the quality of the beads used and then sewn in by hand.

The has ample layers under the skirt (Chantilly lace of different variations) but I could only upload one video. I have a video showing the beautiful lace layers I can provide via message.

Every bead is stitched by hand as stated on the tag and on the designer's page. That means that you don't have beads coming off this dress in a trail behind you like many other sequin/bead dresses of lower quality. This dress has no loose beads.

This dress does not include the over skirt shown in 2 photos. My price reflects not having the skirt as I did not purchase the skirt (it was sold separately). However, they said that ANY light weight skirt could have matching hook and eye added to match the loops on the back of the dress. I can send a detailed photo showing the loops for the overskirt to be attached.

NO ALTERATIONS HAVE BEEN MADE, but I consulted the boutique's in house seamstress at purchase regarding potential alterations (I considered removing the front neckline mesh for instance and taking in the waist if needed). She confirmed both were possibilities with an experienced seamstress.
