The Dress
A romantic, whimsical A-line dress, with custom-made detachable off the shoulder sleeves, worn once for my wedding on 11 February 2023. This Cherie by Oui Cupid dress features intricately beaded and hand-appliquéd floral embroidery, on an illusion corseted bodice, and a slinky skirt with a dramatic train. Fits size 8.
The dress has been professionally dry cleaned and is in perfect condition.
Alterations
The following alterations were made:
- Bust, waist and hips taken in to fit my body shape (size 8) and cup size (A/B)
- Length taken up to suit my height (170cm/5ft 7in; 7.5cm heels)
- Custom-made detachable off-the-shoulder sleeves with soft tulle and hand-appliquéd 3D flowers
- Bustle added
- Additional detailing added to bust (hand-appliquéd 3D flowers)
