The Dress
I wore this beautiful dress for my wedding in October 2022. It was the was the first dress I tried on, and I fell in love instantly. I absolutely love how comfortable and flattering it is. The dress was professionally cleaned and came out perfectly. While I am sad to let it go, it seems silly to hang on to something I'll never wear again, no matter how much I love it!
Alterations
I bought the dress off the rack (we planned our wedding within just 3 months of getting engaged so that was my only option!). It was a size 8 and had to be taken in quite a bit. I typically wear a size 4/S or 2/XS depending on the store. Based on my measurements, the dress is now a size 4.
The seamstress also added bra cups (which could be removed easily), shortened the length a bit (I am 5'6 and wore 3.25 inch heels), and added a discrete clear button so the train can be pinned up.
