The Dress

This wedding dress has a little bit of everything you love: the ballgown fit, the stunning + long train, long sleeves, off-the-shoulder yet still a sweetheart neckline, a little shimmer but not overly dramatic sequins. This dress truly has everything you love in a wedding dress. It is classy and composed, with the off-the-shoulders giving an elegant, dramatic feel. It pairs well with lovely neck jewelry, so you can showoff your collarbone and rock an updo. I only wore this dress for one, singular hour. This solely served as my ceremony dress. After the ceremony, I changed into my reception dress. Therefore, I have not had this dress altered so it is yours for the tapering! It is a Size 8 in Allure, however I am typically a Size 6 in dresses and Allure suggested I go with the 8. It ended up fitting me absolutely perfectly. This makes for a lovely fall/winter transition dress - my husband and I got married on a beautiful, fall day in November and this was absolutely perfect for that time of year. I truly felt like a beautiful bride in this dress, and in retrospect I wish I could have worn it longer.

Due to the fact that I wore it for such a short amount of time I did not get it dry cleaned, but there are absolutely no damages or rips/tears anywhere on this dress. This dress was $2,200 for me to purchase, and I only wore it for 1 hour, so $1,400 is really quite a deal! My husband and I are moving, and I really just don't have the room for it in my apartment anymore. It is hard to say goodbye to it, but given my circumstances I would love to bless another beautiful bride-to-be with it!
