I had an absolutely wonderful wedding day in this elegant and classic silk dress. It feels totally beautiful to wear - with its flowy heavy silk skirt, and no fuss style. It's in perfect condition. This is the version of the dress with hand-sewn sequins over the bodice, which give it great texture and make it feel so special.

I bought the dress last year from a woman on Stillwhite who lived just down the road from me! And had such a great experience that I have decided to pass it on to another Stillwhite bride in the hope that you will enjoy it as much as I did.

It was a perfect dress for my relaxed countryside wedding. Because it's a bit shorter I didn't need to worry at all about staining the dress, despite spending the whole day on grass, and it's pared-back timeless style was just what I had been after. The last woman who wore it had a small wedding during Covid and I think that it would be perfect for a more intimate ceremony too.

As it's a true wrap dress it is quite flexible on the sizing. With just a small alteration to the popper button closure on the front of the dress (super simple - my mum did it) it was able to work well for both me - a UK 8/10 - and the previous owner - a UK 10/12. I have included one of her wedding photos so that you can see what it looked like on her too. I think we both look great!
