The Dress
This dress is so comfortable! It stood out because it immediately felt secure when I tried it on and I knew I wanted a dress that was low risk for a wardrobe malfunction. I purchased it as a sample dress, had it altered, and then did not end up wearing it as the wedding was planned during the time when everything was initially shut down due to the pandemic. The only flaw that I found with the dress was that there were holes throughout the top layer of tulle. I simply had the seamstress that did my alterations remove that layer. There are still 2 layers and I don't think the overall look was affected. The first photos are from the bridal store and the last photos are from the alterations fitting room after that top layer had been removed.
Alterations
The straps were shortened and the waist was taken in. I'm not incredibly familiar with alterations but I can see that the extra fabric is still there on the straps if they need to be lengthened again.
