The Dress

This two-piece gown features an intricately embellished crystal corset with a layered tulle skirt. The crystal back detailing is laid on an illusion base to give the look of a second skin. It fastens with two poppers as a thong once on. It seamlessly fastens over the shoulder once on. No poppers are visible.

This dress was bespoke. When fitted I had the neckline crystals removed so that I could wear a sentimental piece of jewellery. This would have not been possible in its original design. Also some of the fastening poppers have been moved around on the waist line to fit me. These could be easily moved around again to provide a further bespoke fit.

Although the label is a bridal size 12 I was a high street size 10 when I wore it. Bust size 34B, weight 9st 6lb, and waist 26.5inches. I am 165cm tall. The dress does not fit on the waist but slightly lower down.

There are a couple of stains on the underskirt, which can't be seen. There was a hole on an upper layer of the tulle. I had this professionally hand sewn. Due to the amount of Tulle it is not obvious once on. Please see a close up picture of the skirt and a normal picture where it is not possible to see it. There is one crystal missing on the bottom of the bodice. It is not obvious and can be easily replaced. It has been professionally dry cleaned.

It was an absolute dream come true to wear it. I felt incredible. Comfortable and ethereal with a touch of boho.
