The Dress

An iconic Monique L'huillier design, the Willow wedding dress is an allover hummingbird lace strapless soft trumpet with a sheer bodice and off the shoulder detachable cap sleeves. Color is 'silk white'.

Unique custom split size 14/16 or street size 8/10. Top bodice is size 14 (8 street size) + bottom skirt is size 16 (10 street size) perfect for an hourglass figure with a little more room in the skirt. Due to the custom split size done by Monique L'Huillier, NO ALTERATIONS were made to the structure or body of the gown.

Nude cups were sown in, detachable cap sleeves had elastic added, skirt was blunt scissor cut to my height with shoes on (I am 5'9" and wore the Loeffler Randall 2" Dahlia heels, so dress was cut to 5'11") and buttons for an American bustle. My ready-to-wear dress size is an 8 / 10 Medium.

This dress was purchased in July 2022 at luxury boutique Casa de Novia Houston where it was expertly altered. This dress was made in California.

Monique L’hullier is the creme de la creme of wedding dress designers and this dress is a DREAM. This spectacular gown was wore once on our wedding day Sept 2022, it has been dry cleaned and is in wonderful condition, ready to walk down the aisle again.
