The Dress
I fell in love with this A la Robe 'Amanda' dress when I tried it on, and had to have it as my second look dress. It features a drapey low back and slim slip-dress silhouette. I wore it only dinner and dancing, and I was so comfortable and felt like me the whole time. I wish I could wear it again!
This dress is a size Medium- if you were able to try this style on in store, it was likely a Medium as well (sample size).
Please note the dress does NOT have the scalloped lace hem from the photo of me in the the store.
Flaws:
The dress was professionally cleaned by Elegance Preserved. There were some marks along the hem that they were not able to remove. However, those photos (last three photos included) are taken in the harshest possible lighting, and the marks will not be as harsh in natural lighting, whether in person or in photos.
I took the video on a sunny day in my apartment in natural light, so that is a better representation of the marks.
There is also a tiny makeup speck one of the shoulder straps.
Alterations
straps were taken in (can be let out) as the dress was hanging too low on me. the hem was also shorted so that was perfectly floor length with heels (i am 5'7 and wore 3 inch heels).
i had a bustle added in but i think it broke (did not use it).
