The Dress

This beautiful Charlie Brear gown is a sample dress that has never been worn at a wedding but has been tried on in the shop (hence the reduced price). I bought it for my wedding but was then gifted a dress from a family member that had sentimental value so now have two! It’s very flattering and so comfortable to wear and can be accessorised easily with a beaded jacket. I am a size 8/10 UK and 5’7 (without heels). I didn’t have any alterations made to it but it can easily be taken up / altered if too long. There is some bobbling on the inside lining at the bottom where the dress has been tried on but it’s not noticeable on wearing it. You can see from the photo that the inside lining is longer than the dress and you may wish to take it up with alterations but I think it creates a nice affect.

Charlie Brear website describes the dress as: our Torum dress highlights the simplistic clean lines for a modern bride. This bias cut dress features a boatneck and a low v back. Styled beautifully with any addition piece, this dress remains a timeless look for the cool, modern bride. The dress might need a steam from where it’s been carefully stored in the bag.
