The Dress

Anne Barge Lamar gown. This dress is gorgeous!! The website photos do this gown NO justice, and the Anne Barge ig account didn't promote this dress at all. Crazytown. So I'm including so photos of myself in the strapless store sample and my gown (I added modern, wide-set straps inspired by Emilia Wickstead) The corset detail is super on trend right now, but this gown does the trend in a subtle way that I think will remain classic through out time... it doesn't look like a see-through, lingerie type of corset, which is a style totally gorgeous in its own way, but one I think might look dated in the future. The details are elegant and give this classic gown a modern edge. I fell in love with this gown the second I tried it on and was so surprised when they told me it was an Anne Barge because that corset detailing was giving me a totally different designer. Anne Barge is usually as classic "bride" as you can get, but this one stands out to me as different than her usual style. Alterations were made to fit my frame

I added straps because as the alterations process went on, I realized I was going to absolutely hate spending the night in a strapless gown. IYKYK. I'm SO GLAD I did this. The straps were not only practical, but I think made the dress even chicer.

Color is Pearl which is a stunning shade of ivory! It's absolutely still white, but there is a gorgeous warmth to it. Much more flattering, in my opinion, to most skin tones.

Can include my veil which was a custom $400, horsehair trim veil, cathedral length, with a blusher.
