The Dress

When too much of a good thing is never enough, meet Millie. Crafted with layers asymmetrical of pleated tulle, Millie is made for romantics at heart. Fitted at the waist with a voluminous skirt, styled with the bonded bandeau for a modern luxe look.

This was the outfit of my dreams. I never thought I would wear a strapless, or show my midriff, but the whole outfit ended up being so perfect! I felt like a real modern bride and have not stopped receiving comments since the wedding. I had the long sleeved top custom made for something more conservative but still edgy for the ceremony.

The skirt is a Kyha size 4. I had the bottom hemmed slightly as I am already tall so didn’t need much. If you are shorter than me (180cm), you could get it hemmed more. I wore 6.5cm block heels with it and the train was pure perfection. The top is a Kyha size 3 and as I have a flatter chest I got the sides taken in. The long sleeved top measures to a standard AU/NZ size 10.

The tops are in perfect condition, the skirt is perfect except for one small tear to the tulle at the base of the back of the skirt which you need to look very closely at individual layers to spot (depending on your height this may be removed when hemmed).

Included is the veil which is pictured, and the long sleeved top. It’s all dry cleaned and ready to go! Happy to discuss selling together or separate.

Alterations

Hemmed about an inch from original length. Bandeau has been taken in a few cm and tabs added to hold the top fixed to a strapless bra. Alterations were completed by very talented bespoke wedding tailor Fritz and Sarah in Parnell who also custom made my long sleeved top.
