The Dress

This is a couture made gown, especially for me in 2015 as my wedding dress. It is italian silk chiffon with a floral print in Pink and Lavendar. It has a sweetheart neckline with boning in the bodice and 24 covered buttons in the back. It is an A-Line shape, falling beautifully from the pleated waste. There is an underlay of cream silk satin to give the dress shape and flow.
After my wedding I took it back to Anne Bertossi and she altered the hemline to be Dior length, mid-calf so in-between tea and knee length.
It has a bolero Jacket to match with pleated sleeves which sit just above the elbow. The bolero is matching silk chiffon with no silk satin underlay. It is shear chiffon. After I had it dry-cleaned, I noticed a very small rust coloured mark on the collar which is very hard to see but could be covered with a broach or flowers (picture included).
I love this dress, but unfortunately, it no longer fits me, and I would love someone else to have the pleasure of wearing this beautifully crafted designer dress. I hope you feel like a princess in it as much as I did.
* There is no label size as this was a made to measure gown but the website insisted I add a size.
