The Dress

I absolutely loved my dress! We got married on NYE this year and this dress felt so glamorous and timeless. We got married in a landmark hotel designed by French architects in the early 1900's, so my dress had to reflect the space -- statuesque, intricate, timeless and dimension with shade to reflect glowing light.

The bodice/main figure of the dress is ivory on the top layer, with white baroque detailing throughout, which pops beautifully in photos and reflects in different lighting. A slight silver sparkle/sheen as well. Under the top layers there is a blush, ivory and then nude lining. This dress doesn't look see-thru (it's not) but you can feel the sheer layers of tulle. I am a 32C bra size, I did not wear inserts, the dress comes with small ones as support, like a normal bra. Zip goes all the way up the back.

At the knees there are various paints in which multiple layers of tulle triangle out and give lush layers and body of a 4 foot train. The layers are of white, silver sparkled, ivory, blush, nude; all tulle. The quality of the tulle is divine, so soft and trails gorgeously. I had the front of my dress trimmed so that it sits 1 inch off the ground as I didn't want to trip as I walked. It also gave a gorgeous peek-a-boo to my shoes as I walked. But this can be trimmed further if you are shorter than 5'9'.

The only flaw is one hole in one of the tulle layers at foot level, from my pump-heel. You cannot see it however, only if you search through the layers of tulle. Otherwise -- not a single mark on the bodice and it's been dry cleaned.

Alterations

The waist and bust were cinched in less than an inch. I am a true size 4 -- and this fit perfectly aside from the minor adjustment.
