The Dress

I am selling a beautiful BRAND NEW (with tags, original box, hanger and garment bag) and UNWORN strappy, satin, square-neck, slip wedding dress with tie-back from ASOS in a UK Size 8. Originally bought for £130.00 in September 2022.

The Astrid dress is everything you'd want for your perfect, boho chic wedding, and the only reason I'm not wearing it for my own wedding is I found another dress that fits me slightly better.

The dress is lined and has a lovely flowing skirt which skims your figure and gives a really romantic silhouette.  The satin has weight without being too heavy, but it hangs and moves beautifully.  It's 100% polyester and dry clean only.

The square/straight neckline gives a little nod to the 90s whilst also being modern and timeless.  And the lace-up straps are brilliant because they allow you to adjust the dress to fit nicely, and you can wear them crossed over or straight.  The dress fastens at the back with a concealed zip.

Overall, this could be worn as part of a modern, minimalist wedding look, or could give a lovely boho feel with added accessories (pictured here with a single-tier veil).

It's a classic slip dress but with a little added structure in the bodice, so you can feel like you've got a bit of support.  The model in the original promo shots has a smaller bust than me, but you can see in the pictures of me wearing it that it still support larger busts (I'm 30E and in these pics I'm wearing a basic stick-on bra so you can see the under-wiring a bit, but I also tried it on during an underwear fitting with a seamless bustier and it was invisible, so you'd just need to find what works for you).

The back dips low but it's not backless as such - I found it a very flattering fit and easy to wear.  I'm 5'11" and between and Size 8 and 10 for most dresses, and this one fitted really nicely.  For someone tall like me the skirt touched the floor even with a small heel on.  Anyone more petite could easily wear a higher heel and still get the hem to more than touch the floor.

The colour was listed on ASOS as 'Ivory' but I'd say it's closer to white - not a bright, icy white, but a very slightly warm white.
