The Dress
This dress is made out of a beautiful silk faced duchess fabric. I couldn’t go back to another dress after I saw and felt this silk dress. The delicate beading and feathering at the top was a very nice feminine touch. The back is lined with real delicate loop hole buttons and even the tulle under the dress has delicate detail to it. I had it cleaned and preserved in a box since the year of my wedding - it has not been taken out of the box since. A French bustle was added. There is one button that came off of the bustle but this will be an easy fix.
Alterations
The only alterations was for the length of the dress as I am short. I am 5’ 2” and I wore the dress with 1 inch heels. It was floor length.
