The Dress

Size 12 Galatea gown in Titanium

Oversized Dalia-inspired floral motifs cover Galatea's exquisite A-line silhouette. Two rows of Velvet Ribbon wrap around the bodice to secure the waist with a delicate bow in the back.

This was a sample dress but was only gently used when I bought it. I had it professionally dry cleaned and made some alterations as it was probably a size or two too large for me.

I was so happy I chose to wear this gown as it was comfortable and I could sit, dance, and most importantly eat! I ate all I wanted and had bubbly drinks without worrying about any bloat showing.

There are signs of wear on the top where the embroidery has become a little fuzzy and the lining has some light stains at the bottom - they don't seem visible unless you lift up the tulle layers. But it is still a beautiful gown.

Alterations

Shortened the length to about an inch above the floor reduce it catching on my shoes (I'm 5' 7" and was wearing 1.5 inch heels) . And shortened the length of the straps to add some more support. All together it measures 58 inches from top of strap to bottom.

Had waist brought in a little.

Added mesh fabric to v in bust to add a little more security - I'm a little busty.

Had train bustle added in both the lining and tulle layers.
