The Dress

Dress is style "Wallingford" by Ivory Willow, purchased from a local boutique in Seattle. It features an ivory lace overlay with allover starburst beading, on top of a champagne colored underlay. The bodice is sheer (except for the cups) and is a corset / bustier style. The back zips up. It can be worn strapless, or with spaghetti straps, or with detached billowy sleeves that were custom made using the same sheer beaded fabric. It has been dry cleaned. There are no visible flaws on the outside of the dress. There are some minor markings on the inside lining layers from where the train trailed on the ground (but not visible from the outside). No discoloration or stains to the bodice (did not wear a spray tan, no makeup on dress, etc). The dress was purchased for $2900+$1200 for alterations and custom features.

Alterations

The dress was hemmed to length, and a "wire" (for lack of better term) was added around the bottom of the dress to keep it full / in place. The dress was not taken in at all. Slightly padded cups were added to the dress (but could be easily removed). I had custom removable spaghetti straps made, as well as custom billowy off-the-shoulder sleeves using the sheer beaded fabric ordered directly from the manufacturer.
