The Dress

Selling my absolutely stunning wedding dress from Gala by Galia Lahav. Toyed with the idea of keeping it, but i really do believe it is such a waste just sitting in a cupboard and not being worn - I want to give somebody else the same feeling it gave me by wearing it on such a special day! It’s a real show stopping gown that genuinely made me feel like a million dollars when I put it on for the first time, and every time after that. The corset cinched in my waist in all of the right places and instantly gave my body that beautiful hour glass figure look. The sweetheart neckline and padded cups also helped to give my chest a nice lift and highlight my décolletage perfectly. It’s got so many elegant and beautiful layers to it, it feels glamorous yet still very chic, and not overly in your face with too much sparkle or details which just wasn’t the kind of dress I wanted. The intricate beading and details all over the dress add that subtle shimmer that caught the light on the dance floor on our wedding night which made for some magical photographs!

We got married in Puglia, Italy on a day that was 37 degrees hot (!!) but this dress in comparison to some that I tried on was still light and airy even though it had layers and detailing - so it is honestly perfect for an Aussie summer wedding or a Euro summer wedding!

Alterations

Extra layer of organza lining from knee down (so the dress is not see through at the knees as per in the original image of the dress from the Gala website).

I also had a bustle added to the dress so it can be lifted up for the dance floor.
