This dress is beautiful, timeless, and comfortable (plus it has pockets!!). The material is mikado which is a satin-like material. It has a long beautiful train with button details, tulle under the skirt to create a full skirt, v-neckline, and scoop back with delicate beading and a bow detail (bow is detachable). The fit is true to size in my opinion. I wear a street size 10 and the dress is also a size 10.
This dress has been professionally cleaned and steam pressed.
Alterations
- This dress was shortened to fit my 5'4'' frame. Converse were worn with the dress.
- The straps were also taken up minimally at the shoulders to keep them from sliding.
-Bra pad inserts were sewn in by a seamstress.
-There was also a bustle added to shorten the train if needed.
