The Dress
This La Sposa (bridal line under Pronovias) Mecenas Gown is a beautiful tulle + chantilly lace combination. The bodice neckline has a very subtle dip with a lovely illusion tulle & lace overlay. At the waist is a delicate beaded belt with a warm silver beading color. It feels antique without being a dark antique color. The beading has a plastic cover loosely sewn on top to protect it. This is standard on new La Sposa dresses and can be easily clipped off. The silhouette of this dress is the combination of an aline and fit and flare. The inner dress structure is a true fit and flare, while the tulle/lace overlay is more of an A-line. I love the internal corset (pictured) which adds extra support.
I purchased this gown right before it was being discontinued while I worked in a bridal boutique during college. It was my favorite dress at the time and I saved it for my wedding day. Unfortunately, my body has changed and I will not be able to wear this dress for my actual wedding day in 2023, so I have decided to finally part ways and find this stunning gown it's perfect bride.
