Unique design by couturier Sylvia Davies. Absolutely beautiful dress in an ivory duchesse overlaid with an Italian lace with a floral design. Floor length with train that can be hooked back into the skirt. Bodice has heart shaped neckline but is overlaid by lace in a v shape sitting just on shoulder with 3/4 sleeves. Skirt is fitted but not tight and flares out gradually. Skirt is trimmed by floral lace which creeps up Skirt length. The lace is very delicate and there are a couple of tiny holes just in the lace on the bodice but you really have to peer to see them (largest is about 3mm). There are a few liquid marks and a tiny tear in the lining of the hem, the tear isn't really big enough to bother stitching up but you can't see any of this from the outside. The dress has been kept in acid-free paper in a wedding dress box which it will be sent in, so is almost perfect. As the dress has been in storage there are some wrinkles which will drop out. I felt amazing in this dress and if I could I would have worn it so many more times. I hope it makes someone else as happy as me.
