This dress went on a journey! We had a quick engagement so I had to buy something off the rack from Pronovias. I took it to a tailor to adjust it to my size and he basically destroyed the original dress. After (as you can imagine) some soul crushing fittings, I took it to a new tailor who reconstructed the entire dress. When I finally put it on I was just stunned. It's the most gorgeous dress, so elegant and timeless. The straps are satin and the dress is crepe. The buttons go down the length of the back and it zips up. It ended up being the perfect dress - if you have any questions please let me know!
