This dress is a part of the S19 collection, which marks Carolina Herrera's final bow as creative director of the brand. As a classic bride, this dress is the ultimate choice for elegant sophistication. It offers princess seams and a corseted bodice streamline the silhouette of a strapless gown gleaming in luminous Italian silk mikado. It was the original of the back bow trend.
Purchased from the David Jones Bridal Boutique in 2019.

Alterations
I'm just 5'2 so I took the length up slightly (in regards to wearing Sophia Webster standard heel) ; I added bra cups and bust band to help ensure the strapless remained in place for the day. Additionally a bustle was added underneath the dress so the tail can come up under, rather than holding it. The alteration was done by a tailor that had 20+ years of experiences with designer wedding gowns.
