The Payton is an iconic Charlie Brear piece: a classic, flattering, clean lines dress cut on the bias. I wore this with the Isère fringed skirt, and the combination was a dream to wear and especially to move and dance in. It received so many compliments at the time (and still does today - people really remember it!). It felt totally comfortable the entire day despite my worries that it would be too heavy or hot.

The v-neck design is beautifully cut and the low back is glamorous without being showy, which was exactly what I wanted. I tried to find a different top to wear with the skirt, but nothing else quite compared to this style.

Professionally cleaned by Bentley Garment Care. No signs of wear or flaws.

The dress was taken up so it didn’t show under the skirt (specifications below). The material retained could be used to make a sash, as these can be expensive if purchased separately.
