Leah Da Gloria Austen dress with detachable Austen overskirt. Purchased in August 2021, delivered in April 2022 for July 30th wedding.

A statement gown that embraces exaggerated proportions and voluminous silhouettes. Austen is a wildly romantic figure-hugging gown embellished with luxe irredescent beading.
Intricate textural finishes add to the sense of drama that is created by Austen's decadent detachable train.
Overskirt hooks into dress via 8 hooks. Overskirt is heavy!
Dress is currently in process of being carefully dry cleaned.
One minor small rip in fabric near hem where it got caught on shoe. Can send close-up photos if requested.
Alterations
Alterations made to the dress:
-Bust curled at top
-Boning center front shortened 1-1 1/2"
-Crenoline removed beneath overskirt to minimize fullness and reduce bulk
-Small bust pads added
-Horsehair braid hem (approx. 7" was removed at center and tapered down), message for photo; this fabric can be provided
-Added 3 pt bustle
-Straps taken up at seam/shoulder
-Re-anchor waist hooks for overskirt
