The Dress
"Esmeralda" dress. Color: Ivory on nude lining. Sweetheart illusion neckline- still getting the strapless look without worrying about it staying up or needing uncomfortable boning. Dress is very comfortable, easy hidden zipper in the back, no buttons.
Bottom is sheer starting a bit above the knee. Top layer is gorgeous lace with hand sewed floral appliques. Cost $6700 + $300 for dry cleaning & preservation. Will ship in preservation kit- specific tissue paper, box, includes white gloves, etc. to keep it in perfect condition.
Purchased size 8, however at first fitting was taken down to about a 6- see photos with measurements of dress laying flat
Wore for 2 hours to take photos, and that's it- no imperfections.
Height reference: I am 5'3", I was wearing 4.5" heels. Laying flat, the dress was about 59" shoulder to hem.
Alterations
Back was lowered a bit, added 1 layer of silk chiffon nude lining.
