The Dress
Gorgeous tea length dress in ivory with tulle outer layer, and dotty tulle boat neckline with ivory button back. The bodice has a sweetheart neckline visible through the tulle.
1950s style dress from Loulou Bridal, purchased at a London boutique in 2022. This is the Michaela style - the sheer dotted tulle top is a style created uniquely for this boutique.
Note: the whole dress is ivory. In some photos I'm wearing a tartan sash tied around my waist but this isn't attached to the dress and won't be included.
Worn once. Great condition.
Wonderful to wear, and the skirt flares out beautifully when you twirl.
I had a burgundy tulle layer added to the underskirt but this could easily be removed - just needs to unpick one line of stitching attaching it to the other layers of the underskirt - I'm happy to do this before you buy it if preferred, otherwise keep it for a gorgeous, unique vintage look.
The dress is a similar style to House of Mooshki Rhian dress.
I'm based in North London N16 and can arrange for you to try it on before purchasing.
Alterations
Bodice let out 0.8cm at each side seam to make it more comfortable for me. Seamstress noted there's more width that can be let out if needed or it could be adjusted back to original measurements.
I added the burgundy underskirt and this can be easily removed.
