The Dress

This organza gown has a classic sheer boat neck front and a dramatic V back. The skirt is a high trumpet cut with a flowing train. It was originally purchased at Kleinfeld’s NYC in 2012 and worn once in 2013. I am 5’5, wearing 3-inch heels, and roughly 120lbs in the photos shown here. I have all original receipts with detailed measurements showing that the dress was altered at Kleinfeld’s and professionally preserved in Connecticut. The preservation box had not been opened for almost 9 years, so the dress is a slightly darker shade of ivory than the day I got married. However, it is very clean and in good condition. I chose not wear the belt pictured in the model photo from Augusta Jones, but I do have it and it’s in perfect condition. The belt I wore on my wedding day was from Etsy.com. It is a satin ivory ribbon with ivory organza flower.

Alterations

The dress was altered to include bra cups for my wedding day, but they were removed prior to preservation. Very easy fix if you’d like to add those back in!
