The Dress

My gosh I love this dress.
I fell in love with Madi Lane's Abigail the second I put her on, the deep plunge is so flattering making you stand tall and feel stunning. The silk skirt feels like heaven against your legs, and the lace at the bottom of the skirt is so so so beautiful - it flares out in the most gorgeous circle around you. This dress is the perfect combination of traditional with a modern flare in the plunged neckline.

I added the sparkle option to the lace so the dress catches the light and sparkles with delicate sequins.
I also added a cap sleeve, but this is entirely optional as it detaches leaving no trace. You could even have it as a day/evening difference to your look. The cap sleeves trail into the centre of the back to give a little more coverage as I was slightly self concious of my back and it felt perfect, almost slight a delicate lace cape slice.

I am 5 Foot 10 and wore a tiny heel on the wedding day. So, anyone the same height or smaller could take the dress and alter her. I am a UK size 18/20 - probably closer to an 18 on the wedding day with a 40C bra size.

This was worn all day on my wedding day(professional photos are too large to load here but I can send if requested)

The dress has been professionally cleaned and it came up as new - the photos of the dress hanging in the doorway are post clean. ON the day the weather was clear and the only tarnish on the dress was dust which easily came out with the clean. The cleaner was even surprised at how well it cleaned up.

I adore her, I am only selling her as I want someone else to have the joy out of her that I have had. It seem selfish to keep her.

Alterations

I had the translucent back lined with Madi lane ivory material (seen in images)

I also had cap sleeves made which trail down the back making a beautiful V (up to you if you want these or not, they simply detach with invisible delicate poppers.)
