The Dress
The Mayfair skirt is light as a feather. This sheer, silk organza overskirt is finished with tiers of textured frills and is a perfect mix of modern and romantic.
I wore this over the Halfpenny London Dion dress (also listed) for my Ceremony in August last year and removed it for the Reception. It was perfect for creating a softer look in the church.
The skirt has 2 holes at the bottom which can be fixed by a seamstress.
Comes up true to size unlike the dress which came up slightly bigger.
Happy to post or you can pick up from Rutland (recorded delivery postage costs will be calculated).
Alterations
This was altered at the Halfpenny recommended seamstresses, Buckleigh of London (Chelsea). She just took up some length at the front so the back kept its train. Important to note that the length was taken from the bottom of the skirt.
I am 5”4 and wore 4.5 inch platform heels. The skirt touched the floor for me.
