Canaletto is a dress that shapes the figure into a clear feminine curve, the beading echos and underlines the hourglass shape to perfection. The sleeve gives a sheer covering to the arm and focus on the shoulder and neckline, suiting the bride that feels her arms are not her best feature (after nearly thirty years in the industry, it’s the most body fear I’ve heard about! 🤔 ) The dress is soft and supple, but with a cunning inner bodice hiding cups that negates the need for a bra or hides a favoured bra under the satin lining. One of Eliza Jane Howell’s vintage styled pieces that stands the test of time.
The skirt skims the hips and into the lower thigh and billows out in a full tulle hemline, the lace underlay plays with the light and transparency of the dress, giving depth and sophistication.
The dress is an ex shop sample and arrived the season before closure, so it is in beautiful condition and no sign of wear and tear or soiling.
