The Dress

This is the Alana. It is a dress from a limited sample collection that KWH were trying in the Sydney boutique for a couple of months I was told and then it didn't appear in the next season's range. So it really is one of a kind. And I loved every moment of wearing it. The crepe material meant that it fitted like a glove from the first try and it was so so comfortable to wear. I am a size 10, 178 cm, and wore 65 mm heels with the hem taken up accordingly. The dress was dry cleaned shortly after my wedding in July 2022 and is back in prisitne condition looking for a new home.

Alterations

The hem was taken up and the top button appropriately positioned to my waist (left unfinished for this reason at initial pick up). I added a bit of detail with the buttons placed along the zip seam on the bum, a small eyelet bustle and thin boobs cups. No structural alterations were made to cut of the dress. If you are Sydney-based also happy to put you in touch with a great seamstress should would want any further alterations.
