I wore this simple, chic, silk crepe gown by Alexandra Grecco for my Lake Como elopement. The material is luxurious and light and it exceeded all of my expectations!
I’m 5’2” and I wore a 3” heel. I had the dress cleaned and there is a faint mark remaining where a stain was on the lower back portion of the skirt.
This dress traveled incredibly well - I packed it in a protective garment bag that was folded and stored it in the overhead compartment on our flight. When we arrived to Italy it only required minor steaming!
Overall this dress was a dream; it is minimal yet elegant, and I am sure I will admire this timeless style decades from now!
Alterations
I ordered a 3-way split size; 0 chest, 2 waist, and 4 at the hips. I had the train hemmed and a pinch at the shoulders. I also had cups added to the chest but they can be easily removed/replaced.
