This custom made dress is regal fabric sculpture at its finest. The brief was aristocratic minimalism, with structural art. I wanted two looks from this dress, without taking away from its magic. You can wear as it (one, two or all three of the three designs) or make this dress your own using quality foundational design with space for your own personality. The dress This is a stunning corseted (12 pieces) floor length 100% Mikado silk ball gown with 4 meters round train. With deep curve neckline, deep pleated bodice, straight front, and deep pleats on the sides and back, everything about this is intentional. It was made with the lowest back possible without compromising the structure of the dress. It has a built in support strap at the back of the corset to help carry the weight off the spine. Shoulder and sleeve The detachable shoulder and sleeve puff design is a piece of art, could only be designed whilst I was wearing it. It truly is an organic orchestra of fabric sculpture, bringing together 2 unique designs onto one. A smattering of pearls and Swarovski crystals on the shoulder art bring dainty femininity without being baroque. The huge puff sleeve is finished with an intentionally long cuff designed with pearl buttons, extending the masterpiece and elongating the arm. The end piece trails so gently to the floor behind. Supported on a custom crap and clipped in with heavy duty sew on snap fasteners and bra sewing hooks and eyes, the whole design will not move, however remains malleable for dancing all night.
