The Dress

The MIMI gown by Jane Hill is absolutely breathtaking, a dream to wear and shows up beautifully in photos.

The detail of this dress is impeccable, from the plunge neckline with flush mesh detail to collarbone which is nearly invisible against pretty much all skin tones and provides an ‘airbrush’ effect, to the stunning 3D petals and floral overlay appliqué, which sits on top of a nude underlay and pops and sparkles in the light.

The dress was worn for a few hours for our ceremony and professional photos. It has been dry cleaned and is in as new condition.

It has had a beaded trim added around the waist which gives it another beautiful dimension - this was provided directly by Jane Hill to me and professionally added to the dress waistline.

Priced to sell dress on it’s own but happy to sell together with the MIMI matching overskirt. The overskirt has a couple of barely visible marks which can be cleaned off with a wet wipe. It has also had a tiny half fingernail threaded repair. This is not at all visible when the skirt is worn. Note, I did not have the skirt professionally cleaned as it was not worth sending off given it is in excellent near perfect condition after a couple of hours wear.

Note I am 161cm in height and usually a size AU8. I wore Jimmy Choo Lang 10cm glitter pumps on the day.

Alterations

Hemmed at the bottom to suit 171cm height.
Taken up at shoulders slightly to remove excess fabric. No alternations were made to the overskirt.
