The Dress

Swirls of lace and an off-shoulder neckline make Celine a true classic.
This dress was so comfortable and I felt amazing in it, I wanted something I could wear and dance in all night and this dress was perfect!
I'm 50 so don't have the perfect young figure at all and it was very forgiving and flattening, I didn't full out the bust cups at all but it didn't matter so bigger or a smaller bust than my measurements would work as well. It has built in cups and some boning just underneath the breast so that sits really nicely.
I had about 15cm taken off the train when I had it taken up to my length, I also had the shoulders stitched a bit tighter, but that can be unstitched and either taken in more or less very simply.

My husband said I looked so HOT!! Perfect result that I was after!

Alterations

I had the dress taken up in length and the train made less to suit the new length, I am 164cm and I wore 10cm heels, the stiffening and everything was put back on so the effect at the hem is the same as original dress, I also had the shoulders taken in but this can also be taken back out as it is just stitched.
